We have tried to give you an overview on a selection of golf courses in the region, a brief description of each course and our recommendation. A more comprehensive description you may find on the websites of the golf courses, which we have noted below when available.
Rates mentioned on this sheet are our contracted rates, which we are pleased to extend to you without additional surcharge. Should the course management of one or more golf courses decide to change the rates, the new rate will apply while the hotel can't be made responsible for such increase. The rates are valid only for guests of the hotel. We are pleased to arrange transfers to and from the golf courses for you, please allow prior to your tee off time sufficient time for the transfer, change of clothes and registration at the golf course. Should you see any green fee rates on the websites mentioned, feel free to compare such with the ones noted on our sheet, I'm sure you will find that our rates are more affordable. All rates mentioned are in Thai Baht.
Our services include the following:
- Tee off time booking (a confirmation of such in writing will be sent to your room (fax by golf course))
- Transfers from the hotel to the golf course and return. (please be informed, that for golf courses with a driving time of 30 minutes or more, the driver will stay at the golf course, awaiting your successful completion of your round, while for the golf courses with a driving time of less than 30 minutes, the driver will return after 4 hours, 30 minutes)
- Storage of golf bags during your stay at the luggage storeroom adjacent to the lobby
Should you decide to make a tee off time booking only, without transfer, a handling fee of Baht 50net will apply per booking.
Please be informed of the following:
During the transfer, you are covered by our comprehensive third party first class insurance in the event of an accident or injury, should the cause of the accident be by our driver, our vehicle or by a third party
For any accidents on the golf course, or any damages caused by you to the course, or properties on the course, or injuries caused by you to other persons, the hotel will not be responsible for the settlement of such, but will assist you should any problems occur.
For any delays in teeing off at the golf course, the hotel can't be made responsible, however, the hotel will not add up any charges for the additional waiting time of the driver. Please be informed, that the drivers are instructed, to go the direct route from the hotel to the golf course and return. Any requests for detours or stops need to be booked in advance.

The picturesque course with its high number of bunkers, frontal water hazards and fast greens is considered one of the most difficult courses in Thailand. Longest fairway: No. 7 (590 yards, par 5). Only 1 Par 3 is shorter than 200 yards. The first Par 3 is considered one of most beautiful Par 3 worldwide. Sometimes monkeys from the nearby jungle are accompanying golfers during the game

Der malerische Platz mit seinen vielen Bunkern, frontalen Wasserhindernissen und besonders schnellen Gruens zaehlt zu den schwersten in Thailand. Laengste Bahn, die 7 (etwa 590 yards, Par 5). Von den Par 3 Loechern ist nur eines (No. 12) kuerzer als 200 yards. Das erste Par 3 wurde als seines der schoensten Par 3 Loecher der Welt ausgezeichnet. The 36 holes are of quite different nature, they are separated from American Wood (A), British Link (B), Crystal (C) und Dunes (D). All fairways are relatively short, especially the B and C Courses. Only one Par 4 reaches 400 yards from white. A and B are far more attractive because of old trees providing a nice coulisse. Fairways and Greens are in excellent condition on all 36 holes.

The layout of 3 * 9 holes is not particularly spectacular but has been improved recently by adding countless palm trees along the fairways and an exclusive club house. The harmoniously desined course almosr resembles a Hawaiian Links-Course. There is a fair number of well placed bunkers on the hilly fairways, the undulated greens are not really dramatic. This course is a delight for every golfer.

Das Layout der 3*9 Loecher ist nicht unbedingt spektakulaer, wurde aber durch die Anpflanzung von unzaehligen Palmen entlang der Fairways optisch verbessert. Nun strahlt der Platz eine grosse Harmonie aus und erinnert fast an einen hawaiianischen links Kurs. Die Anzahl der Bunker ist ebenso fair wie Ihre Plazierung und ondulierte Gruens sind nicht sehr dramatisch. Hier wird das Spiel zum Genuss ohne Reue. |

Certainly one of the most pleasant golf course along the Eastern Seaboard. 18 holes designed by Robert Trent Jr. and laid out on flat fields near the beach, separated by many palm trees. The course serves the long hitter well. Areas are rich with flowers and well maintained.

If you look for a value for money game of golf, there is no better course than this one. Just be careful that you don’t catch a tee off date close to a tournament date, the greens will kill your score. I love this course most compared to all others in the region, it is exiting. Hilly, few water hazards, but continued undulated and narrow fairways and well placed bunkers as well as the most difficult Par 3 in the region. This course is a challenge even for the strongest players despite some very short Par4s

Wenn es einen Golfkurs gibt, den ich jeden Tag spielen koennte, dann wuerde ich diesen Waehlen, nicht zuletzt fuer den guenstigen Preis. Seien Sie nur vorsichtig, dass Sie keinen Tee off Tag haben kurz vor oder nach einem Turnier, die 0Schnelligkeit der Gruens bekommt mit Sicherheit nicht Ihrem Score. Im huegeligen Gelaende gelegen bietet dieser Kurs Golfern aller Spielstaerken (trotz 3 kurzer Par 4s) eine grosse Herausforderung. Wenig Wasser, aber dafuer fortwaehrend wellige und enge Fairways, gut plazierte Bunker sowie die wohl schwierigsten Par 3s der Region. Starke Spieler werden schnell Respekt vor diesem Kurs bekommen. |

The originally splendid course designed by Nick Faldo does not belong to the top range of golf courses in the region anymore. The vicinity with extended pineapple plantations as well as the fairways of the course are quite dry, the greens are not in the best condition.
There are lots of bunkers (120), on one fairway (18) are 11 of them, but once again, not well maintained.

Der urspruengliche praechtige Platz, entworfen von Nick Faldo, gehoert nicht mehr zu den besten in Thailand. Er sei hier nur der Vollstaendigkeit halber aufgefuehrt. Wie die gesamte Umgebung mit Ihren ausgedehnten Ananasfelder, so sind auch die Fairways recht ausgetrocknet, die Gruens in nicht gutem Zustand. Bunker gibt es reichlich (120), allein auf der 18. Bahn sin des 11, aber auch wie der Rest des Platzes in sehr schlechtem Zustand. |

Countless partly deep bunkers let the course appear like a moon landscape. The tricky placement gives this otherwise romantic course a distinctive note. On the other hand, there are only fe water hazards but a lot of elephant grass and high roughs. One should allow time for playing all 27 holes, they rank among the better ones around Pattaya.

Die unzaehligen, mitunter hoellisch tiefen Bunker auf diesem Platz lassen diesen wie ein Gebiet mit Mondkratern uebersaeht erscheinen. Aeusserst trickreich plaziert, geben Sie dem romantischem Kurs eine unverwechselbare Note. Mit Wasserhindernissen ist der Architekt eher sparsam umgegeangen. Dafuer hat er sich jedoch mit einer Menge hohem Schilf und hohem Rough ausgetobt. Fuer den Kurs sollte man sich Zeit nehmen und alle 27 Loecher spielen, diese zaehlen zu den besseren in Pattaya |

Several water hazards and huge bunkers provide fun for all handicaps. Course A and B have been designed as championship courses, the combination B and C more for the hobby golfer. Exceptionally beautiful and dangerous. The hole no. 8 on course B is surrounded by water.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus ( he said, this is one of the best golf courses I have ever done), players enjoy (or not) challenging and exciting holes which are laid out hilly, flat or watery terrain throughout the 27 holes with its undulating fairways and greens. The rolling hills of the surrounding countryside have been used in good effect and the natural rock formation add to the beauty of the 27 holes. The cleverly shaped holes or skirt water hazards and tall coconut trees. Every tee is signed with a description of the fauna/flowers used on that particular hole to give each hole a distinctive feature. Course C counts to one of the most difficult 9 holes in Thailand. Golf cart compulsory, though by rain you are not allowed to drive onto green areas.

In Berg, See und Tal aufgeteilt ist dieser Platz eine Herausforderung fuer jeden Spieler. Er ist landschaftlich aeussertst attraktiv und man muss ihn einfach gespielt haben. Tip, bringen Sie sich eine ausreichende Anzahl von Golfbaellen mit. Golfkart ist Pflicht, auch bei Regen, wenn Sie mit diesen dann auch auf den Wegen bleiben muessen. |

The flat course is now in excellent condition and very challenging for the player. As an example, fast and hilly greens, 4 of them on islands surrounded by water and hazards, or the number 14, par 5 dogleg to the left, 549 yards for the white tees: having a lake throughout the left side of the fairway which seems to be a magnet for a ball. Difficult is also the relatively long distance between the tees and the beginning of the fairways, a ball will always end up in semi-high rough if not having the length to reach the fairway.

Etwa durch die –zwar weitlaeufigen aber haeufig welligen Gruens (4 davon in Insellage). oder auf der 14. Bahn: Par 5 Dogleg nach links, 549 yards von Weiss, mit dem Abschlag erreicht man einen Teich an dem die ganze linke Seite der Spielbahn entlang fuehrt. Ein Magnet fuer Baelle. Als schwierig ist zweifellos auch die Distanz zwischen dem Tee und dem Begin des Fairways einzustufen. Bei kurzen Abschalegen bleibt der Golfball fast immer im Semi Rough haengen. |

The course is relatively easy and got no major challenges for the player, except some greens which are well protected by bunkers. Only one hole has a water hazard, no. 17, which at the same time is also the most interesting one. The greens are keeping you awake because of sloping surfaces.

A great product, opened only in 2004. 27 holes of highest standard will make every golfer on one side happy, on the other side desperate because of its difficulty and length. One par 6, reachable in 3, but not recommended due to the water surrounding the green. All fairways and greens are intelligently integratyed into the surrounding landscape and provide a great background or at least something to enjoy when playing. A great challenge even for the good golfer. By reaching the greens, it is not over, they are all hanging and sloping

Hier gibt es eines von 3 Par 6s um Pattaya. Kann in drei Schlaegen erreicht werden, jedoch ist dieses nicht empfehlenswert durch das Wasser welches das Gruen von drei Seiten umgibt. Alle Bahnen sind toll in die Landschaft integriert und bieten neben der schoenen Kulisse allein durch Ihre Laenge eine grosse Herausforderung, selbst fuer gute Spieler. Plutaluang has been integrated sensitively into the sloppy landscape. Beautiful, unharmed and untouched nature accompanies the player along all 36 holes. Be careful, the course is during the high season hopelessly overbooked and you may wait, despite reservation a long time for your caddie. The North, South, West and East Course got some partly narrow fairways and bunker protected greens. Difficult water hazards provide a challenge and a special gag is the Par 3 with a light on house on the green at the North Course. Golf cart recommended. |
Plutaluang wird einfuehlsam in die huegelige Landschaft integriert. Wunderschoene unberuehrte Natur begleitet den Spieler ueber alle 36 Loecher. Die Kurse Nord, Sued, West und Ost bieten teils schmale Fairways sowie von Bunkern geschuetzte Gruens. Schwierige Wasserhindernisse machen jedes Spiel zu einer Herausforderung, wozu als besonderer Gag sicher auch das Par 3 mit einem Leuchtturm auf dem Gruen auf dem Nordkurs zaehlt. Eine Golfkart ist empfehlenswert, weite Wege zwischen den Gruens und dem naechsten Tee off. Probleme gibt es oftmals mit den Caddies, weil diese nicht in genuegender Anzahl vorhanden sind und man oftmals lange warten muss (trotz Buchung). |

Designed by Dennis Griffiths, set in wooded, rolling terrain, this 27 holes course (Ocean, Lake and Mountain) has magnificent views of mountains and the blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand. A profusion of huge mango, eucalyptus trees and flowering shrubs (please be careful when you try to get the ball out of these, they are full of thorns, but you get relieve as long as there is one flower on the bush) add color and give a natural feel of the layout. |

The Siam Country Club was built 35 years ago and has been one of the best known courses since, home to several international tournaments. (and will be again for an LPGA tournament in October 2007) The course was closed for restoration from 18 months and re-opened in March 2007. To the surprise of everyone, the new Siam Country Club turned out as one of the highlights in the Pattaya Golf landscape. Great layout, well maintained fairways (you walk on a carpet) and challenging placed bunkers are demanding a lot from the player. A small stream of water is going to the course, touching 6 holes, but nothing dramatic coming with it. Most difficult are the narrow fairways and greens, many of them with bunkers, exceptionally exciting during the last 4 holes. The compulsory carts have been criticized by many players, particularly as they are not allow on the fairways which makes you walk a lot, always with the need to carry a lot of clubs with you, not knowing what kind of lie you have.

Der Siam Country Club wurde vor 35 Jahren angelegt und ist einer der bekanntesten Plaetz in Thailand, auf dem viele international Turniere gespielt wurden und auch wird (ein LPGA Turnier im Oktober 2007) Er wurde Anfang 2006 geschlossen und in Fruehjahr 2007 nach einem Jahr wieder eroeffnet. Zur Freude aller entpuppte sich der in neuem Glanz erstrahlende Platz als ein Highlight in der Pattaya Golfszene. Tolles Layout, gepflegte Faiways (wie Teppiche) und trickreich plazierte Bunker verlangem dem Spieler einiges ab. Quer durch den Kurs fuehrt ein kleiner Bach, der bei 6 Loechern ins Spiel kommt, allerdings nicht sehr dramatisch. Etwas schwieriger gestalten sich da schon die relative engen Fairways and die reichlich mit Bunkern umrandeten Gruens. Besonders spannend sind die letzten 4 Loecher. Die Kartpflicht wird von vielen Spielern krtisiert, zumal diese nicht auf die Fairways duerfen. |

Designer Desmond Muirhead has attempted to rebuild the world famous Scottish St. Andrews Golf Course, with fascinating success. The demanding course has been perfectly integrated into the natural surrounding. Narrow long fairways with deep slopes take turns with several bunkers- a challenge to the score (it is recommended not to play here if your handicap is 18 or higher) With 2 Par 6s, the first one twice over a lake the Par for the course is 74. The last 4 holes will take every last bis of energy out of you, as if the course didn’t do that on the first 14 holes. A golf cart is compulsory, but you need it anyway, no complaint here. You want to play 19 holes? Here it is provided, an island green, just to keep you relaxed after in the middle of the round. Currently the course is undergoing expansion plans and a further 9 holes will be added soon.

Designer Desmond Muirhead hat hier versucht den weltberuehmten schottischen Platz St. Andrews nachzubauen and dass ist ihm in fazinierender Weise auch gelungen. Der anspruchsvolle Kurs wurde perfekt in die schoene umgebene Natur integriert. Schmale und sehr lange Fairways mit steil abfallenden Taelern wechseln sich mit reichlich immer im Weg liegenden Bunkern ab. Wer nicht sehr genau und praezise schlagen kann, hat kaum eine Chance auf eine adaequaten Score. Der Kurs empfiehlt, nicht mit einem Handicap von ueber 18 diese Herausforderung zu versuchen. Mit 2 Mal Par 6, von denen beim ersten zweimal ueber den gleichen See geschlagen werden muss (dieses ist gleichzeitig das schweste Loch) weisst der Kurs ein Par von 74 auf. Ein Golfkart ist Pflicht, aber man ist dankbar dafuer so eines hier zu fahren. Wenn man nach den ersten 14 Loechern noch nicht genug hat, die letzten 4 Loecher haben es noch einmal grandios in sich. 19 Loecher spielen, kein Problem, ein Inselgruen ist zur Auflockerung des Gemuets und zur Erholung eingebaut. Eine Erweiterung um 9 Bahnen ist momentan unterwegs. |

Here you will find what will be the most difficult course in the region. After having built Thailand’s No 1 Golf Course, the Blue Canyon Country Club, designer Mr. Yoshikazu Kaot established another masterpiece, 18 holes, Par 72. Nestled into a valley surrounded by jungle-clad hills, no housing estates or cars disturb the peaceful downfall of a good golfer. A long golf course with plenty of doglegs to the left and right and many blind shots into the green. Water hazards, plenty in the inventory seem to draw each ball into it.

Der wohl schwierigste Platz der hiesigen Region wurde von Mr. Yoshikazu Kato, welcher auch den No. 1 Platz des Landes entworfen hat (Blue Canyon Golf & Country Club, Phuket), gebaut. Mit Treasure Hill ist ihm ein weiteres Meisterstueck gelungen. 18 Loecher, Par 72 bieten Natur pur in einem Tal, mitten im Dschungel. Hier stoert keine Strasse und kein Haus. Ein langer Kurs mit vielen Doglegs und blinden Schlaegen zum Gruen. Seitliche Wasserhindernisse scheinen die Abschlaege magnetisch anzuziehen. |
